Half day leave

Yesterday went to Junction 8 and got myself an earring rack. I have been searching for the earring rack for so long. Finally I got it at Junction 8.

I really had great difficulty to digest the cm1131 lecture notes. I did pay 100% attention in lesson but the theories behind it just seem so hard. I want to do my best for this semester. God bless me. Around 2pm, received a missed call from Ruth, and call her back. She told me that the Atkin’s Physical Chemistry book has arrived. So I decided to collect the book later. Around 3pm, I left my house. By right wanted to take 242 but 99 came first so I boarded 99 instead. Near the petrol station, I alighted to take 198. Luckily, I managed to find a seat if not I going to stand for quite some time. After alighting at the Dover ITE bus stop, I slowly stroll to NUS. I walked for 15 minutes to reach the Co-op shop. When I reached the Co-op shop I was half dead. The weather was so hot. I decided not to take the 198 back as my legs feel so tired. I have timed that, from my house to NUS if I take 242 or 99 then switched to 198, it will take approximately 90 minutes. Meaning that if I have to attend 8 am lesson, I have to leave my house at 6.30am, that is horrible and not wise to do so too. On my return trip, I took 95 to Bouna Vista MRT and took the MRT to Boon Lay station boarded the 242 bus. The total time I was took only like 50 minutes. That is rather more practical. So I decided to take MRT to school instead. Today I walked so much until my poor foot got blisters. It was so unbearable.

Emotional Night

I have so much to say and confessed to but there’s no one I can possibly turn to. Everything just kept stacking and piling up in my heart. I can’t possibly handle every single issue so I can only dig a pit in my heart and throw each sorrow into that pit and bury it up and continue with my life. How I wish you will be there to listen to me and give me advice but in reality that’s not the case? Happy times just flew so quickly, it’s been over even before you realise it but sorrowful times just seem so stagnant and so reluctant to move on…….

Affectionate but hilarious

Happy Valentine day to all my friends and readers. Today, something interesting happen during my lectures on cosmetics and perfumery. While my group of friends were all inattentively looking around and we happen to see an uncle outside our lecture hall’s door. He was holding on to a bouquet of flowers, no doubt he seem wanting to deliver the flowers to some girl in the lecture hall. But he must be astonished by the size of our lecture hall (can hold up to 500 people), he hesitated to come in. Fortunately he met two late comers, he approached them. Soon the two latecomers enter the lecture hall with a slip of paper. They look quite anxious and had the intention to speak with the lecturer. My first thought was probably the bouquet of flowers must be meant for the lecturer. But I was extremely wrong. The two latecomers pass the slip of paper to the lecturer and she announced “someone wanted to deliver this bouquet of flowers to Renna Tan, could Renna please come down and collect the bouquet of flower” Suddenly, the whole lecture hall seem to be awoken by this interesting announcement and all of us were looking around to see who is the fortunate girl. I supposed she was just too shy to collect the flowers at first but some of the schoolmates claps and give her some moral support to go and collect the flowers. The whole lecture hall was filled with “wooooooo” sound. She hurriedly went down to sign and collect the flowers from the uncle and walk briskly back to her seat with a bashful expression. I really find it so loving but pretty embarrassed too. I told my mummy about the scenario and my mum say would you dare to go and collect the flowers if it was you instead? I say I will but I will be super shy. My mummy says “how about I also deliver you a bouquet of flowers on your 21st birthday on 11th Aug” I say I will be super shy but in high spirits and have an unforgettable birthday Laugh out loud. Do you want to be the one to send me the flowers other than my mummy?

Desires

In life, we hardly ever get what we desired. Habitually those that you fancy a lot will never notice you unless miracle happens. Nevertheless, one should not renounce easily but hold on to it till some one special knock some sense into your brain and tell you to move on. Optimistically next valentine day, I will be spending it fruitfully.

Happy Lunar New Year

The time now is 2.01 am so now is already the 4th days of the Chinese New Year. Time really flies so quickly another one more day I will be back to school again. No doubt that this lunar New Year is a fruitful one as I got a lot of ang baos and a lot of home visiting. Let’s recall what I have done in the past few days

On the 6th Feb
Early in the morning I went to my maternal aunt’s place for praying purposes for my grandmother. After which my mummy and I went to Jurong Point to do our final shopping and went back to my house for the last minutes of spring cleaning. Feeling rather guilty for not doing any spring cleaning officially thus decided to do something finally. I went to vacuum my floor and clean up my house’s sofa set. Clean until my backbone almost going to break apart. Then evening time had my reunion dinner, and as usual television time till the midnight.

On the 7th Feb
Wake up around 11am and watch some Korean drama and off to collect ang baos. Went over to my maternal side relative‘s house. House visiting can be really tired. Around 6 plus in the evening, went back to my ah ma’s house for dinner and chit chatting with my cousin. 10 pm, off we go for movie. It ends at around 12 midnight but I can only reach home at about 1 am because had to accompany my youngest aunt to send my elder aunt back to kallang. I was so tired.

On the 8th Feb
My family went over to my fifth aunt’s place for lunch as usual. Followed by going to Jurong East to visit my baby cousin, Dhara. She is just so adorable. I carried her for quite some time and she loves to be carried. I always find babies are so amazing. Then had our quick dinner and my brother sent me back to my own house because my Poly and Uni’s friends are coming over. We had some chit chat and foods. Some of them also made some new friends among us. They left around 11 plus. Then I went to bath and read up my organic chemistry. Finally off to bed at 1am.

On the 9h Feb
Wake up at 10am and started doing my organic chemistry exercises. Around 12 plus my whole bunch of relatives came to my house and my mummy ordered pizzas and KFC for them. Poor I have to stay in the room and do my revision because I truly find myself in the joyous holiday mood and never even flip through my lecture notes at all. Luckily today I knock some sense into me and finish chapter 3 and 4 Mcmurry revision. Then went to my aunt’s place and had our dinner. And went back to my ah ma’s place. Then busy touching up my report. The calculation part is driving me insane. Luckily I finally figured it out. I m so exhausted, tomorrow still got to attend my family lunch at Sakura and my dad agreed to let my drive them there. I’ m eagerly looking forward to tomorrow or should I say later?

Spring Cleaning 2008

It’s been a very long time since I spring clean my messy cupboard even though my mummy forever nagging me to clean it up. In view of the fact that I’m so sick of watching the CM1131 web cast thus I make a decision to do something I wanted to do always but too lazy which is “clean up my cupboard”. During the cleaning up process, I found loads of accessories I bought very long ago. There are abundant of them. So I decided to take a photo of them. I think I can open a shop for the reason that there are too many pieces. But i guess about 30 other pieces of earrings cannot be found so sad!!!!!

After cleaning up, my dad asked me to help him pack red packet for his “bing kia”. There are a total of 200 packets. He is going to distribute them tomorrow.

Toa Payoh

Today after my piano lesson, my parents came to fetch me and off we go to my favorite hangout place Toa Payoh. I just love the place so much because it sells a lot cheap but good stuff there. Anyway I was damn hungry after my piano lesson since I woke up too late to get my breakfast so I have to wait until 3 pm before I can seat down and eat peacefully. So throughout the journey, I was like grumbling and grumbling how hungry I m. Then we mum say “see la, ask you wake up earlier but you refused”. Then when we reached, my dad suggested to go “xin fu yin chai” for dim sum. The food there tastes pretty good. I had my favorite Aloe Vera drink. After the meal, SHOPPING SPREE begins. We went around looking for clothes and shoes. We finally settled in one of this shop which sells pretty and cheap stuff. So my mummy bought me a pair of sneakers. She bought a sandals and a big bag. Then went to this shop that sells some “ah ma’s clothing” so grab two fashionable top for my beloved ah ma since New Year is approaching. Then my dad also never go home empty handed, he bought 4 cushions for my house sofa. But he was nagging all the way because we spend too long shopping. Guys are like that hate to go shopping with females. But anywaythanks dad for fetching us there to and fro and helping us to carry our output for the day and his treat this afternoon. Everything goes quite smoothly today, but when we about to go home, we cant find our car in the HDB Hub’ carpark. Thecarpark is like a maze whereby the entire car looks freaky similar. Then walk forquite some time before we found 1388 …. Then I told my mummy “I feel freaky tired to walk around the carpark to look for the car than to walk around for my clothes though we only spend like 5 minutes searching high and low for it but I spend 2 hours to look for my shoes” I think most of the females are like that. What about you? This month i burnt a big hole in my pocket, i seem to spend like 500 on clothes. I m just so crazy. Promised next month i will be a better girl and spend less.
